Terms of Use

These terms cover the Hallway Photos iOS app, the Hallway Photos host software, and this website (“the software”). By using the software you agree to them.

What the software does

The app copies photos and videos you choose from your device to a host computer that you or your family run on your own network. The developer runs no service that receives your photos or videos. See the Privacy Policy.

Your responsibility

You are responsible for the computer that runs the host, for keeping backups of your library, and for the accounts you create for family members. Only add photos and accounts you have the right to add.

No warranty

The software is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind. It is a backup helper, not your only copy — keep your original photos until you have confirmed they are safely stored and backed up elsewhere.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for lost data, lost photos, or other damages arising from use of the software.

Apple App Store

The iOS app is also subject to Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement. Where these terms and Apple’s EULA differ for the iOS app, Apple’s EULA governs.

Changes

These terms may be updated; the date above shows the current version. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
